I'm a musician, instrument collector and recording engineer. I grew up in a musical family, started piano early and switched to guitar when I was 10 years old. Along the way I've added wooden flute, bodhran (the Irish frame drum), cittern and banjo. I dabble in hurdy gurdy and several mandolin family instruments. Most of my music is traditional or tradition based, from the “Celtic” lands of Ireland, Scotland and Brittany, as well as "old-time" American.

I play guitar and bodhran in a trad Irish band called the Sunday Drivers with mandolinist Ashley Broder and fiddle and flute players Allison and Nicolas Buckmelter. We’re at Dargan’s Pub in Ventura, CA the first and third Sundays of every month from 4 to 6pm. We have a cd out called “Eire Mail”. Our website is available on my links page. I'm also on the Blarney Rubble cd, which was a fiddle (Carla Lawson), dulcimer (Brenda Hunter) and guitar/bouzouki (moi) trio, and on an album of harp and flute music with Brenda Hunter, "Walking in the Air." More info is on my links page. You can also find out more about my studio Clear Creek Recording on the links page.

Thanks for visiting, I look forward to hearing from you!
